| Most Equation of State (EOS) models are not suitable for streams high in CO2 or H2S which is why Mass Trak utilizes the AQUAlibrium calculation engine, the most accurate EOS engine available for this type of gas stream. For water saturated gas streams, the engine is also used to calculate the water saturation so Mass Trak can correct the dry basis compositional raw data. Flowrates are calculated in accordance with AGA. |
Mass Trak - Realizing the Potential of your Facility
Allowing Mass Trak to monitor the flows of material at your facility will change the way you look at measurement troubleshooting, regulatory reporting, and risk mitigation. The following benefits can be immediately realized with MassTrak: |
- Cumulative real-time material balance
- Identifies metering problems as they occur
- Monitors GC calibration
- Meter Auditing Reports
- Sulphur Injection Reports (ex. AEUB S-30 Report)
- CO2 Emission/Injection Reports (Kyoto)
- Flare Reports
- Links to multiple GC’s or uses Grab Samples
- Historical data, useful for process optimization and troubleshooting
- Identifies the source of process inconsistencies
- Most accurate AQUAlibium EOS calculation engine
- Water content correction

Implementing MassTrak
Mass Trak can be implemented easily on facilities utilizing computer systems compatible with OPCII, which is currently the oilfield standard. An installation, configuration, and fine-tuning time for an existing facilitymeasurement system is approximately two weeks. For some systems additional equipment may be required or preferred to access the full real-time functionality of MassTrak Emissions or other calculation results can be exported into the regulatory forms of your choice for automatic completion.Contact FlowPhase Inc. for more information or for a quote on your Mass Trak implementation. |
